Volunteering at MTSD

There are two different types of volunteers:

• A General Volunteer is a volunteer who provides one-time, intermittent, or continuous service and is under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee.
• A Board Approved Volunteer is a volunteer who is not under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee. This includes overnight chaperones, driving students, or driving district vehicles.

To become a volunteer, you must complete the following at least one week prior to your anticipated volunteer event:

• Volunteer Application
• Arrest and Conviction Report Form 
• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA Criminal Background Check
• FBI Criminal Record Check
• Tuberculosis Test
• Disclosure Statement
• Any other Requirements determined by district policy.
