There are two different types of volunteers:
- A General Volunteer is a volunteer who provides one-time, intermittent, or continuous service and is under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee.
- A Board Approved Volunteer is a volunteer who is not under the direct supervision of a qualified school district employee. This includes overnight chaperones, driving students, or driving district vehicles.
To become a volunteer, you must complete the following at least one week prior to your anticipated volunteer event:
- Volunteer Application
- Arrest and Conviction Report Form
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- PA Criminal Background Check
- FBI Criminal Record Check
- Tuberculosis Test
- Disclosure Statement
- Any other Requirements determined by district policy.
